Cake pops!
18.25 oz cake mix (any flavor)
2/3 of a 16 oz container of desired flavor frosting
1 bag of dipping chocolate
lolly pop sticks
Step 1. Get cake mix (any flavor) - bake as directed, then let cool for at least an hour. (Just do it before bed! Easy.) ( I used WHITE cake mix)
Step 2. Break apart cooled cake and put into mixer, mix up the cake until it's in small crumbles, then add your frosting (2/3's of container- now I didn't do that, but I wished I would have so the mixture wouldn't be so mushy. I used CREAM CHEESE frosting). Mix well.
Step 3. In bowl, put the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Step 4. Roll this fabulously delicious concoction into balls. (HINT: don't take the whole bowl out of the fridge, this mixture gets soft really quick- so I just took a fourth at a time and then rolled from there.)
Step 5. Place balls on cookie sheet covered in wax paper, slide lolly pop sticks (have no idea what else you would call them) into balls. (HINT: I found the stick and cake mix worked better when I put the sticks in side ways in the balls instead of straight up in the air. See below to understand my terrible explanation.) Place the tray in fridge/freezer to harden.
Step 6. Melt desired chocolate on a double boiler, take one pop at a time and dip in chocolate- from there put your toppings and let cool while laying it down on it's side (easiest but not cutest) or stick into styrofoam to cool.

oh me oh my
I need a husband.
Well, of course you know I have one. A fantastic one. And because of him I am the luckiest girl in the world.. you don’t need to hear that. But. I have been oh so spoiled. I get Jory almost every second of my non-working life. He is home when I leave. Home when I get home. And really, I am never home alone. Besides Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. while Jory is at scouts. (Is that safe to post on here? I hope so.)
So, like this very moment in time, when I AM actually home a lone… I don’t know what to do with myself. I find I’m a lot like my Mom. I’m a stress cleaner, a bored cleaner, and a “I don’t know what to do with my self when I’m a lone-cleaner”. So, now that I have cleaned my house, it’s really not that clean either, but if I clean up that kitchen one more time with in the next 24 hours, I do think I will lose it. . . I realize I have to eat dinner. Since Jory isn’t here, why cook? Plus I am out of my, home a lone dinner option, eggs.
So… what is the next best option? Nutter butters.
My already struggling waistline is in trouble if I keep this up through when Jor starts school in June and I will be alone for most of the week nights.

what we'll do for a dolladolla bill... or a shed
See below.

Amazing, right? They're original SCHWINNS! And the best part was that we paid 10$ for them- at a fairly sketchy garage sale across the street from my parents. The people who kept their 15 children home from school daily, and who wouldn't answer the door. EVER. They were weird. But, we got bikes for 10$! What we did not know about these darling things, were that, they. are. so. heavy. We rode the bikes around the block a couple times, and once- when feeling very ambitious we rode to Lindon, which in all reality is not far from Orem, but, with 30 pounds bikes (just kidding but they're heavy) we ended up having the best/worst work out of our lives. (Not including the kickboxing class Jor joined with me and my girlies- by the end his knuckles were bleeding and we wanted to strangle the teacher who was constantly yelling "YOU ARE NOT TIRED!") but... that is whole other story in an of itself.
So. We sold them. For 100$. On Ksl. In five minutes, (literally). To a man who drove from Park City to pick them up. Should we have asked 100$ a peice? I think yes. Did we get jipped a little? I also think yes.
But, like I said, we're not bike people, and we just made 100$.
Also.
We thought it would be a good idea to take the aluminum shed that was offered to us from Jor's parents ... the shed that sits next to Jory's sweet grandma's house, Grandma Crane who passed away in March. Why pay for a shed when we can take down and assemble one ourselves, for free?! So yesterday, thinking this task would be minor, we headed over.
Not minor at all.
It was fun to watch Jor and his manly self take apart the shed. I just oo'd and aww'd at his muscular forearms, (okay I'm done..) and held the bucket that caught all the washers from the ends of the screws. I'm a pretty hard worker. HA.
But, the best part of the night. Are you ready for this? While we were finishing up with the roof I looked over and saw a cute little Robin's nest.. I told Jory, jokingly, that we should knock that nest down to see if there are any eggs... Jory then told me I was rude - but grabbed the camera and we climbed the tree.
This is what we saw...
These are from tonight. The blue egg is gone, but it still looks like there are 3 birdies. I'm thinking that white thing is what was inside the egg?
