nothings betta than the fam

When is all comes down to it, after all the "things" you have to have, after friends, petty annoyances and meanless distractions in life... Family is your everything. Atleast, it's my everything. I can know that my real true self will always be loved and accepted for the things that make me, me. I don't know how I could live with out them.

After that NOTE... Jor and my family had the best week long vacation that involved only wearing makeup and a real bra for two days out of that 7. I could really get used to that. ;)

Trip included... St George, laying out, shopping, driving, Las Vegas, the Strip, Rio Buffet, Aubrey's sealing and wedding day, tuacahn, camping, CATCHING fish yahooo!

Here are some pictorials...

We finally made it.
Dear pilot. We love you, but why did your ac have to stop working right when we left St. George and continue to not work our whole way to Vegas?

Needless to say... we were exhausted!

I think everyone needs one of these in their lives.

Rio Buffet? Yes please.

and p.s. Jory, please don't take your wedding ring off and lose it in your debris of crab legs and meat-less rib bones... and not realize it until we're gone... Oh wait. Check. Done that.

Are you in there wedding ring????

SHARK REEF at Mandalay Bay

How would it be to be this guy? ... I'd like to know... Just for a day.

The Wedding Day. I absolutely love love love weddings. Everyone complains about them ... that you have to talk to people, sit around and wait... but I love them. and I just want everyone to get married so I can go to their wedding and just sit and watch how happy they are.

we decided to fake everybody out and pretend we were the bride and groom, too bad I wasn't wearing a white dress!

The bride with her papa. I'll set the scene for you... EVERYONE was bawling..

and... finally... what's a wedding with out dancing? My man's got moves that I couldn't even dream of having. I am so jealous. and I am SO upset we didn't have dancing at our wedding! It was a total blast and everyone- even those that you would be a little bit worried about seeing them dance... danced! and it was hilarious. Dancing heals the soul I think. And Grey's Anatomy, but we won't talk about that. ;)

We ended the trip going to Navajo Lake in Cedar Canyon (in Cedar City). I read an article on what your brain does when you expose yourself to the outdoors. You are actually able to take it more and to concentrate better than in a stuffy work environment. At least that is what I think I read. : ) If I could taking a fishing holiday once a month I would. I would just really need to pray hard so Jor would actually be able to catch fish or he wouldn't want to go with me. We had tons of fun. We rented a fishing pontoon boat and sat on the lake all day, frying our scalps and noses, eating red vines and smearing powerbait all over everything. Oh yeah. And catching fish!

Okay, I'm finally done.

the tortoise and the hare

Being the fantastic allergic person I am, it puts a damper on my love for animals. Jor has been cute and he's had such a good attitude on all of my random wants and needs for cute cuddly things. He even seemed pretty excited when I suggested getting a monkey. They wear diapers, diapers! Now if that isn't cute I don't know what is.

We've got a couple cutie patootie animals around this house and I just love it! I wish we could get more. For now, my next goal is to get a micro mini pig, I guess Paris Hilton has one and they're the new "fad" in England or something. Google it, you will die!

Meet Mr. Jack.

This potty trained sweetheart was born in west valley and loves wheat bread. what a healthy guy.

I'll post his hutch that jor made, he's so skilled! It looks super great and we found a perfect spot to put him.

So we've got the hare. Now we need the tortoise right? It just doesn't feel right with out it.

Meet
Desmond and Toby. Mississippi Map turtles that we bought on KSL from nice man named Jose. SO CUTE (the turtles). They're water turtles who just swim swim swim all day.
